Funlab were recently acquired in a trade sale from Next Capital to TPG and required an overhaul of their marketing technology and capability along with hiring their first CMO into the business. Growth had been highlighted across the US and Asia and this role would sit in the Australian head office but have oversight and accountability for the global roll out.

Emu set about mapping all relevant industries across Retail, Hospitality and Technology to ensure a modern, digital savvy marketer was uncovered. As we looked across industry we identified a CMO that had both retail and SaaS tech experience, unusual to find and when we overlayed the cultural aspect, Oonagh Flanagan was identified as the perfect fit for the role. Now in her 2nd full year with the business she has been a terrific hire and is making great progress in the role.
